FAQ

Q
If I suddenly become ill in the middle of the night or on a holiday, will you really come?
A

With the contract regarding regular house call services, Yes, of course.
Our clinic has a system in place to “come rush to your aid anytime” for patients and their families 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you call our emergency contact number, a doctor or nurse will always respond, and if necessary, they will come to your home.
Patients without the contract regarding regular house call services, we’re afraid we can’t provide any house call services since we focus on the patients with the contract.

Q
How do I receive my medication?
A

At your first consultation, we will ask for your preferred pharmacy, and the exchange of prescriptions will be handled between our clinic and the pharmacy.
Your family can pick up the medication at a nearby pharmacy, or you can use our “home visit pharmacy service” where the medication is delivered to your home and explained. We provide thorough support as a “team” for medication management.

Q
Is it necessary for a family member to be present during consultations?
A

No, some people, such as those living alone, have our house call services alone each time. We will share information from the clinic by phone or in a notebook as needed.

Q
I’m not sure if I’ll really need it, but maybe my family member should request home visits. But I don’t know what to do…
A

Please contact the clinic’s main telephone number first.
If you currently have a primary care physician or care manager, please consult with them in advance.

Q
I don’t have a primary care physician, so I can’t prepare a referral letter. What should I do?
A

Don’t worry; please contact us first.

Q
I haven’t decided whether I want end-of-life care at home, is it okay to consult with you?
A

Of course. Quokka will help you find your “answer.”

Reservations and Consultations

We support every single patient who desires home-based medical care.
If you’re wondering, ‘How would this apply to my situation?’, please feel free to contact us.
